Jek taekwondo provides students with the perfect way to get in shape while learning practical self defense along side the traditional art. Little Dragon (3 – 5yrs)
Our Little Dragon’s program is aimed at introducing your child to taekwondo. During a 45-minute class, students gain motor skill development and a sense of confidence within our playful and positive class environment.
We teach basic blocks, punches, and kicks in a game-centered and age-appropriate environment. An emphasis is placed on helping your child develop their motor skills, coordination, balance, and listening skills in a safe and positive environment.
Beginners (6 – 15yrs)
Our Beginner’s program maintains a fun and positive environment for your child while introducing them to the full taekwondo curriculum including the more formal aspects such as discipline, self-control, and respect.
Your child will have the opportunity to earn belts for each level as they progress through taekwondo. Your child will learn concentration and focusing skills through fun and organized activities that are goal oriented and challenging.
We teach the complete curriculum of taekwondo including the philosophy and principles of the martial art. We work with the students on their physical and social development, which helps them develop emotionally and cognitively. Goal setting, perseverance, self-defense techniques, self-control, and self-discipline are some of the many skills that your child will gain through this program.
Whether your are an absolute beginner to taekwondo or has goals and aspirations to reach the highest level of the sport, Jek taekwondo is proud to welcome any adult who is willing to listen, learn, and work hard.

We believe in the balanced development of our students. Physically, this means exercising all of the muscles and strengthening the body systematically, both internally and externally. Mentally, this means developing self-control and self-discipline on a path to achieving inner harmony. The end result is an improvement in the quality of life, both physically and mentally, for Taekwon-do practitioners.
Taekwon-do, when practiced regularly and properly, helps individuals to maintain fitness and general physical well-being. Our aim is to impart wellness in our students by showing them how to prevent illness, by maintaining a fit and able body and mind that are better able to cope with the stresses and strains of daily life.
